At the beginning launched only for iPhone a couple of years ago, Viber for Mac today includes all appropriate functions for mailing messages, making free cell phone calls, and syncing messages and contacts between any smartphone and Mac. Even though some features seem to be to be still in development, this software shows great results.
After downloading, the program prompts the consumer to enter information from their phone. Viber for Mac requires that the user own a smartphone--to confirm this, the program sends a note to the smartphone with a code, which verifies the applications and allows it to start. The main menu includes a left-side area containing all of the contacts available, with their profile photographs. An area also includes clearly-labeled control keys for a dialer, chats, contacts, and recent phone calls. A central, larger section of the window monitors the current conversation's information. Adding parties to the conversation is not hard and just requires clicking a button. Users can then choose to make words or video call to another Viber user. Though the video feature shows up as a beta version, both regular and video calls proved helpful well during testing.
Viber for Mac works sufficiently for making voice phone calls and chats over the Internet. At the instant it’s smaller network and the simple fact that it’s online video calling excellent but still in beta version makes it difficult to compete with other already established brands in the market such as Skype, but the software shows significant improvement and is completely free.
